Job summary

Lumanity is seeking a Director of Quantitative Commercial Market Research to join its London Insights Team. This hybrid role requires office presence approximately 2 days per week and a track record of delivering high-impact research for life sciences clients.

You will drive growth, manage large client accounts, and oversee complex quantitative studies, including conjoint analysis and segmentation, while coaching senior colleagues and expanding the team’s capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven business generation track record with new and existing clients.
• 8–10+ years in research or professional services.
• 8–10+ years in research-based project management.
• 8+ years in ad-hoc, primary research within a commercial setting.
• Extensive life sciences, healthcare/pharma experience.
• Strong knowledge of research methodologies with creativity.
• Advanced quantitative research experience including conjoint analysis and segmentation.
• Proven skills in project and account management with strong client communication.
• Advanced leadership and management skills.
• Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead on development and growth of Lumanity’s primary market research team.
• Maintain and build key accounts to generate revenue, drive growth and profitability, whilst meeting annual targets.
• Lead on and provide support across multiple quantitative projects to deliver innovative client research solutions to build client satisfaction.
• Provide detailed, advanced knowledge of complex research methodologies.
• Provide effective coaching, leadership, and management to motivate and develop direct reports and work teams.
