This opportunity is 100% office based in Milton Keynes, UK.

As the Director of Quality and Product Safety, you will:

• Lead and inspire the Quality teams across our European sites within the Flavors EU Business Unit.
• Take full responsibility for all quality-related matters, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and product quality.
• Spearhead the implementation of innovative quality initiatives that align with our strategic goals.
• Provide expert guidance and advisory services, influencing the overall success and growth of the business unit.

What you will do:

• Ensure compliance with Group Quality policies and procedures.
• Successfully develop, implement, maintain and execute quality procedures into the business which also comply with ingredients and quality programmes: e.g. Operating standards, auditing programmes.
• Develop quality plans for the sites to support continuous improvement programmes.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Manage consumer complaints, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage quality and food safety issues in line with regional communication and escalation protocols to enable appropriate level of decision making.

What you will bring:

• A degree in chemistry, microbiology, food science, or other related technical degree.
• Experience in a leadership position within a Quality Assurance/ Food Safety/ Regulatory environment within the Food and/or Flavor manufacturing industry.
• BRCGS certification and implementation experience preferred.
• Experience working in a large international manufacturing environment preferred.
