Job Summary:

1. The Director of Procurement Excellence is responsible for developing and maintaining global procurement processes, digital solutions, reporting, and training to support procurement teams worldwide.
2. Supports the architecture of the global procurement solutions portfolio and leads key development projects and analytics.
3. Leads and develops the Procurement Excellence team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote a culture aligned with GKN Aerospace’s values and principles.
• Develop procurement process specifications and requirements.
• Manage the strategy, development, and implementation of global procurement processes and solutions.
• Standardize and deploy procurement processes and systems globally.
• Ensure project management methodologies are followed for all initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with solution partners and stakeholders.
• Lead and develop a global team across multiple countries.
• Implement new digital procurement technologies and continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with procurement leaders, commodity teams, and key suppliers.
• Organize departmental reviews with stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets and contribute to sustainability goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BSc degree or equivalent.
• At least 15 years of relevant business experience.
• Minimum 10 years in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, leading global teams.
• Strong knowledge of Procurement Excellence, change management, and business systems.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, including senior management influence.
• Understanding of aerospace industry trends and technologies.

Travel:

• Significant travel required globally.
