McGregor Boyall is recruiting a Director, IT Operations & Security Strategy in London (hybrid). The role sits under the COO and unifies IT security, architecture and change delivery to shape strategy, governance and transformation across technology and business change.

The role leads three managers and partners with the executive team to drive risk management, regulatory readiness and resilience while enabling growth through strategic technology investment.

Qualifications

• Significant senior technology leadership experience.
• Experience managing multiple technology disciplines (security, architecture, change).
• Strong understanding of cyber security, technology risk and operational resilience.
• Architecture governance and roadmap experience.
• Enterprise change and transformation leadership.
• Ability to influence at executive/board level.
• Experience within financial services or another regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the organisation's technology strategy.
• Ensure technology investments align with business priorities and growth.
• Provide executive oversight of cyber security and operational resilience.
• Oversee architecture, infrastructure, cloud, networking and governance.
• Lead transformation programmes and cross-functional delivery.
• Engage with COO and senior stakeholders to balance risk and opportunity.
