Job summary

Greenwood Academies Trust is seeking an exceptional Director of Teaching and Learning to raise the quality of education across our secondary academies. You will lead strategic improvement, support school leaders, and drive a culture of excellence and inclusion.

You will partner with the trust's leadership, shape curriculum delivery, and oversee teaching and learning standards to ensure every learner achieves their potential and wellbeing is prioritised.

• We have a proven track record of school improvement and leadership impact.
• Inclusive education and pupil wellbeing are central to the role.
• Evidence of Right to Work in the UK and Home Office documentation is required before interview.

• Provide strategic leadership over our Secondary Academies
• Inspire staff, students, and the wider community with a clear vision for excellence
• Develop a holistic understanding of the needs of all secondary academies and provide effective support to targeted academies to enable continuous improvement
• Champion equity, inclusion, and opportunity for every learner
• Work closely with the Trust's leadership team to align goals with wider strategic priorities

Requirements

We welcome applications from experienced senior leaders who can demonstrate:

• A proven track record of school improvement and leadership impact
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
• A deep commitment to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
• The ability to lead with empathy, resilience, and strategic clarity, All applicants must be able to provide evidence of their Right to Work in the UK prior to commencement of employment. As part of our need to comply with UK immigration rules, you will be required to provide Home Office stipulated documentation prior to interview.
