Job summary

Twin Group seeks a Director of Studies to lead EFL programmes, oversee timetabling, testing, and staff development while ensuring curriculum standards and welfare compliance across the academy. The role also manages the summer academic programme and liaises with departments to maintain high inspection standards.

The candidate will have DoS experience, strong leadership, and a commitment to student welfare in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• University degree and TESOL qualification required.
• Experience with line management and staff development.
• Experience in diverse teaching environments and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Line management of Senior Teachers and EFL Teachers; monitor performance.
• Ensure outstanding academic programme delivery with safe, engaging lessons.
• Ensure adherence to syllabus, quality of lessons, and student progress checks.
• Lead weekly placement tests and administrative duties for smooth operation.
• Oversee summer seasonal academics, staff training, and student welfare.

Education

University Degree in any discipline

DELTA/Trinity Dip. TESOL (or AccreditationUK recognised equivalent)

Experience in teaching mixed nationality groups

Director of Studies experience

Experience in line managing staff

Extensive teaching experience

Ability to speak a second language
