Birmingham City University is seeking an Associate Director of STEAMhouse Services to lead entrepreneurship, incubation and business services at STEAMhouse. You will drive student entrepreneurship, support emerging businesses and generate sustainable income through services and workspace occupancy.

You will lead the STEAM Futures and STEAM Growth teams, partner with students, Schools, industry and colleagues to position STEAMhouse as a driver of regional innovation and prosperity.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a business development or innovation services function within a large organisation.
• Strong track record in securing partnerships and generating income.
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills with cross‑sector credibility.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deliver a strategy for STEAMhouse Services and income generation.
• Identify strategic partnerships with businesses, industry and public sector partners.
• Lead STEAM Futures and STEAM Growth teams and collaborate with schools and professional services.
