Job summary

Chichester College Group seeks a commercially driven and strategic Director of Business Development to shape and deliver our income and growth strategy across the Group. You will lead a high-performing Business Development team and drive growth across apprenticeships, adults, higher education and commercial provision.

As Director of Business Development you will provide strategic leadership across three core areas: business development, employer engagement and tendering.

Qualifications

• Significant experience of leading and managing a large and complex sales or business development team, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
• Proven track record of B2B sales and business development at a senior level, working collaboratively with a diverse range of employers and stakeholders.
• Detailed knowledge of the local and regional business landscape.
• Honours Degree or equivalent commercial / sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Business Development team across all colleges.
• Deliver ambitious income and growth targets across key product lines.
• Build long-term strategic partnerships with the Group's largest employers.
• Lead on identifying and supporting bids and tenders.
