Job description

You will lead the growth agenda for one of the UKs most respected residential property management companies, shaping and executing a commercial strategy that wins new mandates and deepens relationships across developers, freeholders, and resident-led clients. This is a key leadership role where you will bring credibility, polish and a consultative approach to complex, high-value sales within a regulated, service-led environment.

You will combine a deep understanding of property management with strong commercial acumen to build a high-performing sales function. From market mapping and proposition development to bid leadership and board-level stakeholder engagement, you will set the pace, coach the team, and deliver sustainable, measurable results.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

Most days you will be leading the pipeline: qualifying opportunities, guiding pursuit strategies, and partnering with operations, marketing and finance to craft compelling, compliant proposals. You will spend significant time with clients and prospects, building trust, uncovering needs, and positioning Rendall & Rittners value. You will also drive forecasting discipline, performance coaching, and continuous improvement across the sales process.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
  • You deliver sustained growth in new business revenue and margin, consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual targets.
  • Your pipeline is robust, well-qualified and accurately forecast, with clear next actions and ownership.
  • Win rates improve through rigorous pursuit strategies, high-quality proposals and confident presentations.
  • Key market relationships strengthen, leading to earlier engagement, repeat opportunities and referrals.
  • The sales team is engaged, coached and high-performing, with clear goals, accountability and development plans.
  • Collaboration with operations ensures seamless mobilisations and excellent client satisfaction post-win.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME
  • Leading opportunity qualification, bid strategy and pricing in partnership with operations and finance.
  • Meeting senior stakeholders across developers, freeholders and resident-led clients to understand needs and shape solutions.
  • Reviewing and improving proposals, presentations and pitch materials to ensure clarity, compliance and impact.
  • Owning weekly pipeline reviews, forecasting accuracy and performance dashboards.
  • Coaching and developing the sales team, setting goals, and supporting effective territory and account plans.
  • Tracking market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities to refine our go-to-market approach.

You are a commercially-minded leader who thrives in a professional, service-led, regulated environment.

You build trust quickly, communicate with clarity, and bring a consultative, solutions-focused approach.

You balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and a bias for measurable outcomes.

You collaborate naturally across functions and are comfortable influencing at board and client C-suite level.

You are motivated by standards, integrity and delivering long-term value for clients and residents.
