Are you an experienced senior leader passionate about construction, technical education, skills and regional transformation?

The South East Construction Technical Excellence College (SECTEC) is seeking an ambitious Director of the Regional Knowledge Centre (RKC) to lead a pioneering centre of excellence transforming construction education and skills across nine counties.

You will work with colleges, training providers, employers, industry bodies and strategic partners to drive curriculum innovation, improve teaching and learning, expand professional development and strengthen workforce capability across the region.

You will set the strategic direction of the RKC, lead knowledge exchange and digital learning, build influential partnerships and champion the sharing and scaling of best practice. You will also represent SECTEC regionally and nationally, while overseeing governance, performance, resources and impact.

A key priority will be developing a sustainable operating and funding model to secure the RKC’s long-term legacy beyond the SECTEC funding period.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a flagship Department for Education initiative addressing construction skills shortages, strengthening technical education and supporting the ambition to build 1.5 million new homes.
