Job summary

Bath College in the United Kingdom seeks a Director of Quality to lead the college’s quality improvement and assurance framework, ensuring readiness for inspection and achievement of performance indicators.

Reporting to the Corporate Leadership Group, the post focuses on strategic quality cycles, collaboration with curriculum teams, and a culture of continuous improvement across funding streams to deliver high-quality learner experiences.

Qualifications

• Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience in senior roles.
• Cert.Ed./PGCE or equivalent teacher training qualification.
• At least 3 years' experience in teaching and training related roles.
• At least 3 years' experience in Quality and/or Improving Teaching and Learning related roles.
• Experience of successfully raising standards, improving the quality of provision and/or coaching and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality improvement and assurance framework across the college.
• Ensure readiness for inspection and meet performance indicators.
• Collaborate with curriculum management teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead a culture of continuous improvement across funding streams.
• Be a member of the Corporate Leadership Group and guide the quality cycle.
