Job summary

Blackburn College is seeking an experienced Head of Quality Assurance (FE) to lead the development and continuous improvement of QA systems across the College. You will ensure regulatory compliance and drive a culture of quality enhancement, working with the Director of Quality Innovation and the Quality Team to deliver high standards and excellent student outcomes.

You will review academic regulations and policies with a wide range of stakeholders, including validating partners and awarding

Qualifications

Extensive experience in FE quality assurance and enhancement.
Experience reviewing academic regulations and policies with stakeholders.
Proven ability to lead audit, compliance and quality assurance strategies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; drive excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of QA systems and procedures across the College.
Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements and drive a culture of quality enhancement.
Collaborate with curriculum and support areas to identify opportunities for development and innovation.
Prepare for and respond to external scrutiny and support quality improvement activity.
