Job summary

Global Schools Forum is seeking a Director of Programmes to lead foundational learning, early years education and secondary education and employment pathways. You will collaborate with Associate Directors and specialists to ensure evidence-based, locally led programmes with measurable impact.

You will shape strategy, improve systems, mentor senior leaders and drive performance across a distributed international team, with a focus on learning and policy influence.

Qualifications

• Significant senior-level experience leading large-scale education programmes in LMICs.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with partner organisations and use community insights to inform design.
• Proven track record in securing funding and developing successful proposals.
• Strong strategic judgement and ability to prioritise across a broad portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of the programme portfolio across three major areas.
• Lead programme design, implementation, quality assurance and monitoring.
• Establish standards for design, delivery, monitoring, evaluation and learning.
• Prioritise investments to improve educational outcomes and scale successful innovations.
