Job summary

Global Schools Forum (GSF) is seeking a Director of Finance to join its remote, global team. You will sit on the Senior Management Team and provide strategic financial leadership, governance, and risk management in support of the charity’s mission to improve education outcomes in low and middle-income countries.

You’ll oversee budgeting, financial reporting, audits, and compliance, while guiding technology oversight and cross-functional collaboration with programme teams.

Qualifications

• Proven senior financial leadership experience, preferably in non-profit/charity.
• Experience in grant management and donor reporting.
• Strong analytical and governance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy and long-term planning with CEO and board.
• Oversee annual budget, forecasts and multi-year plans.
• Ensure robust controls, risk management and statutory reporting.
• Manage cash flow and reserves; oversee audit process and financial reporting.
