Salary: £140,000 - £160,000 + bonus and car allowance

We are partnered with a UK headquartered global entertainment business, who are looking to hire a Director of Product Design to join a newly formed digital hub. This is a pivotal role within the product team, which will help shape the product design department responsible for several B2C digital products.

As the Director of Product Design, you will oversee a multidisciplinary team and lead the design strategy and execution for mobile, web, and e-commerce platforms, elevating the experience for millions of users at a global scale. From ideation to execution, you will be responsible for driving innovation, developing user-centered solutions, and shaping the future of digital experiences in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define the product design strategy across global mobile, web, and e-commerce platforms, ensuring consistency and innovation in user experiences.
2. Create a world-class Product Designer function.
3. Manage and mentor a high-performing team to deliver exceptional design concepts that can scale globally.
4. Work closely with key stakeholders to align design goals with business objectives and data-driven initiatives.
5. Ensure a cohesive experience across mobile-first applications and responsive web platforms.
6. Build and lead product teams, fostering agile development working relationships.

Your Experience:

1. Extensive experience managing cross-functional design teams, including UX, UI, Content, and User Research.
2. A strong track record in delivering global mobile and web products, especially within high-traffic e-commerce or consumer-facing platforms.
3. Demonstrated ability to leverage user insights and data to inform design strategies.
4. Experience driving design from concept to launch for innovative new products.
5. Skilled at working with technical and business teams to deliver user-focused solutions.
6. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the influence to drive cohesive product design strategies by collaborating effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
7. Ability to manage multiple priorities while leading impactful initiatives in a dynamic environment.
