Job summary

Jensen Hughes is seeking a senior Process Safety leader to shape and grow our UK & Ireland capability. This Director-level role combines deep subject matter expertise with the ability to build client relationships, develop market presence and convert opportunities into profitable work.

You will join an established international consultancy platform with a strong reputation in fire engineering, safety and risk, working with senior colleagues across UK, Ireland and Europe.

Qualifications

• Established industry expert with leadership presence to grow a strategically important service area.
• Credible with operators, regulators and senior industry stakeholders.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to win and develop business.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Established professional network within process safety and broader risk landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of a specialist process safety capability across the UK & Ireland.
• Provide senior technical input on fire and gas detection strategy, gas dispersion modelling, hazard analysis and safety engineering.
• Advise clients on facility modifications, ageing asset management and energy transition risks.
• Build and maintain senior client relationships across relevant industry sectors.
• Convert technical expertise and market insight into commercially successful workstreams.
• Lead and support proposal development, fee generation and strategic growth planning.
• Represent Jensen Hughes through industry committees, standards bodies, and thought leadership activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues across process safety, fire engineering, industrial safety and adjacent disciplines.
• Mentor technical teams and support knowledge sharing, quality and capability growth.
