Job Opportunity: Director of People

We are working exclusively with a growing Multi Academy Trust to support the recruitment of their new Director of People. This is a pivotal role in shaping the future of the organisation as they advance into the next phase of their journey.

Role Details:

  • Type: Full-time, permanent
  • Location: Hybrid working with at least 60% in London offices
  • Travel: Occasional travel to Academies within the Trust

Responsibilities:

  • Support leadership in aligning people strategies with organisational goals
  • Manage and lead the People Team (HR, payroll, pensions)
  • Develop and implement a clear people strategy
  • Drive operational HR initiatives

Candidate Requirements:

  • CIPD qualified
  • Significant HR experience in the school and academy sector, preferably at senior management level
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to build productive relationships across the Trust
