Job summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Operations Readiness to join our Operations team. In this role, you will steer operational success from the initial tender phase through to implementation, stabilizing new sites, and ensuring a seamless handover to permanent leadership.
You will partner with Commercial and Solutions Design, lead cross-functional teams, develop SOPs, and deliver performance reporting to drive profitability and safety across global contracts.
Qualifications
- Senior operations leadership experience with site startups and complex implementations.
- Knowledge of solutions design principles, cost controls, KPI/SLA validation, and health & safety compliance.
- Proven ability in customer-facing communication and executive presentations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Drive Solutions Development & Commercial Validation with Commercial and Solutions Design teams during tenders to define SLAs, KPIs, and costs.
- Lead Implementations & Customer Engagement, execute contracts, create SOPs, and provide performance reporting.
- Manage Team Performance & ensure smooth BAU handover to permanent site leadership.
