Job summary

SharkNinja in London is seeking a Product Design Engineer II to join the New Product Development team. You will help bring innovative consumer products from concept through production, collaborating with design, engineering, quality, and manufacturing across the UK, US and China.

You’ll lead mechanical design, DFMA-enabled development, and prototype validation to deliver industry-leading products for global markets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Product Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design Engineering.
• Experience in mechanical or product design within a New Product Development environment.
• Experience developing consumer products or household appliances is desirable.
• Strong understanding of plastics, manufacturing processes and DFMA principles.
• Experience taking products from concept through production lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver world-class consumer products from concept to production launch.
• Design mechanical systems and assemblies across the product development lifecycle.
• Own engineering deliverables from concept refinement to production release.
• Create manufacturable designs using DFMA methodologies and robust documentation.
• Plan, build, and test prototypes to validate performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with design, electrical, software, quality and manufacturing teams.
