Job summary

Whitcliffe Mount School is seeking a Director of Learning for Business, Digital and Future Pathways to provide strategic leadership across Computing, Business, Health and Social Care, and Child Development. Working under the Headteacher, you will raise achievement, develop innovative learning experiences, and drive department improvement within the school and Trust.

An Associate Assistant Headteacher role may be available for exceptional candidates.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience at department level
• Ability to drive improvements in teaching and learning
• Experience with safeguarding and school policies

Responsibilities

• Lead and support staff within Computing, Business, Health and Social and Child Development to deliver excellent teaching and learning
• Improve progress and attainment across the departments
• Develop and monitor development plans for the department
• Collaborate with senior leadership and governors to raise standards and outcomes
