Job summary

WSP seeks an experienced Senior Consultant to join our Infrastructure Planning team in the UK. You will lead consenting inputs on major and nationally significant projects, applying Town and Country Planning Act 1990, Planning Act 2008 and Transport and Works Act Order expertise.

You will work within multi-disciplinary teams to secure approvals, act as Project Director for key projects and negotiate with statutory bodies, while mentoring colleagues and supporting growth opportunities across the

Qualifications

• Leading consenting inputs on major projects (DCOs, DNSs, TWAOs).
• Co-ordinating consent applications under Town and Country Planning Acts and related regimes.
• Acting as Project Director for Infrastructure Planning projects.
• Membership of the RTPI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong technical leadership and advice to clients on consenting requirements.
• Coordinate preparation and submission of consent applications with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Lead complex negotiations with statutory bodies and stakeholders.
• Support and pursue new opportunities in line with growth strategy.
• Mentor and develop junior colleagues in project delivery.
