Job summary

Dovetail & Slate seeks a Director of Inclusion to provide strategic leadership for inclusion, SEND and learner support across Wiltshire campuses. This senior post shapes policy, practice and outcomes in a large education organisation.

You will lead the college-wide Inclusion and SEND strategy, manage multidisciplinary teams across sites, and drive improvements in attendance, engagement and progression while ensuring compliance with SEND Code of Practice and funding rules.

Qualifications

• Experience leading strategic change and improving learner outcomes.
• Experience managing large teams across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of SEND Code of Practice, EHCP processes and funding.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead college-wide Inclusion and SEND strategy.
• Oversee SEND, EHCP, ALS and high-needs provision.
• Drive improvements in attendance, engagement and progression.
• Work with local authorities, families and external partners.
• Lead improvement activity across multiple sites.
