About the role

Reporting to the CFO, you will lead a global team of accountants to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of the company's financial reporting processes. This role is crucial for providing transparent financial information to stakeholders, maintaining regulatory standards across North America, Europe, and Asia, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will lead, engage, and develop a team of 35, driving process excellence and implementing best practices to enhance the company's financial reporting capabilities.

What you will bring to the role:

• Lead a team of 35 accountants across North America and Europe, providing clear direction, support, and development opportunities.
• Oversee the delivery of monthly management accounts, ensuring strong close processes and accuracy.
• Manage the timely and compliant delivery of quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead the annual audit process in collaboration with external auditors.
• Implement new accounting standards and regulations.
• Apply best practices to deliver world-class financial reporting processes with robust controls.

About you:

• Recognized accounting qualification and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading large accounting teams consolidating multiple global entities, including intercompany elimination processes like I/Co profit in inventory.
• Strong understanding of IFRS standards.
• Experience managing external audits for publicly listed groups.
• Excellent influencing, communication, and problem-solving skills across functions and cultures.
• Experience leading finance change projects.
• Experience in a global manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Proficiency with SAP S4 Hana and consolidation software such as Elevate/SAP BPC is beneficial.
