CY Executive Resourcing are delighted to be supporting POhWER in the search for their next Director of Finance & Resources.

POhWER was established in 1996 by founders with disabilities, fighting social injustice. It supports marginalised, vulnerable, and socially excluded people.

The Director of Finance & Resources is a key leadership role responsible for financial strategy, innovation, and operational excellence. You will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, statutory accounts, forecasting, planning, and risk management, ensuring compliance with UK charity and financial regulations.

You will ensure robust financial governance, improve financial performance, and identify income-generating opportunities aligned with our charitable goals. As part of the Executive Leadership Team, you will help shape our future direction and impact.

You will provide strategic insight, challenge, and lead a team of direct reports and stakeholders, fostering a culture of financial accountability and commercial awareness. You will champion performance, control budgets, manage working capital, and seek opportunities to diversify income and enhance financial resilience.

The role requires an agile, collaborative leader who is strategic yet detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and committed to mutual respect, teamwork, and commercial awareness.
