Raffles London at The OWO, located on London’s Whitehall, combines the allure and heritage of Raffles with one of the world’s most historic addresses. The hotel is renowned for luxury, glamour, and extraordinary experiences.

This Grade II* listed Edwardian building has been transformed into a property with 120 rooms and suites, along with 85 branded residences. The OWO destination features nine restaurants and three bars, including one by signature chef Mauro Colagreco. Job Description

Your role will oversee the events operations department at Raffles London OWO, ensuring guest expectations are met throughout the event experience. You will maintain high levels of guest communication, preparation, and delivery for all events and meetings. The role requires anticipating guest needs and working closely with the kitchen and sales teams to exceed expectations. Collaboration with hotel staff and agency/reserve staff is essential to uphold service standards.

Responsibilities

Operation

  • Develop and document service steps and procedures.
  • Oversee all aspects of event service from setup to execution.
  • Recruit, train, and manage the events operations team.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests.
  • Prepare event spaces efficiently within time-sensitive targets.
  • Manage departmental training, recruitment, one-on-one meetings, and appraisals.
  • Perform additional duties in the absence of senior staff, including working in different departments or outlets as required.
