Job summary

Hull City Council is seeking an ambitious Assistant Director of Technology and Innovation to lead digital, data, and technology agendas in a large public sector organisation. You will shape the council’s Digital Strategy and drive transformation across ICT operations, cyber security, data analytics and innovation programmes.

You will build partnerships with elected members and regional partners, promote responsible adoption of emerging technologies, and deliver sustainable efficiency and service

Qualifications

• Track record of leading large-scale digital transformation and organisational change.
• Experience developing digital, technology and innovation strategies; strong cyber security knowledge.
• Exceptional communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to inspire innovation and build partnerships.
