Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Director of Data Engineering within Enterprise Technology to lead the enterprise CMDB strategy and data quality program, ensuring trusted data foundations for operations and technology.

You will define scalable data architectures, govern data standards, and partner with product, architecture, engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data teams to deliver resilient platforms. Experience with CMDB, data governance, and enterprise AI adoption is essential.

• Experience leading enterprise-scale data architecture and engineering.
• Experience implementing data governance, data quality, and data management.
• Experience with data pipelines, data lakes/lakehouses, and cloud data technologies.
• Experience with CMDB architecture and data integration in complex environments.
• Translating business strategy into technology roadmaps.
• Operating in regulated or controlled environments.
• Cross-functional leadership across product, architecture, engineering, and operations.
• Leading teams in AI-enabled data engineering workflows with proper validation.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive strategic direction for data engineering capabilities across large-scale platforms.
• Own CMDB strategy, data quality, and scalable integration patterns to support operations.
• Drive data strategies for horizontal scale, performance, and risk reduction.
• Establish governance standards for automated AI-enabled data workflows with auditability.
• Deliver reusable data pipeline and architecture solutions across domains.
• Provide technology leadership for CMDB strategy and data integration patterns.
• Develop data talent and leadership through cross-functional partnerships.
• Lead adoption of enterprise AI with human validation and security controls.
• Set governance for AI-assisted workflows ensuring resilience and compliance.
• Influence senior stakeholders to align priorities across business and data technology.
