Job Description:

We are partnering with a well-known Housing Association based in London to recruit a Director of Asset Investment and Fire Remediation. This newly created role involves leading strategic investment and enhancement of assets across a diverse property portfolio, including fire safety remediation projects in occupied residential properties.

The Role

The role oversees asset investment functions and fire safety remedial works, ensuring properties are safe, compliant, sustainable, and well-managed. It also involves securing external funding, addressing latent defects, and achieving KPIs aligned with financial and carbon reduction goals.

Desired Skills

• A construction-related qualification, ideally at degree level, relevant to fire remediation and project management.
• Experience managing large construction projects and asset/capital services, preferably with residential portfolios including high-risk buildings or those over 11m tall.
• Proven success in fire safety and asset investment compliance, customer satisfaction, and regulatory adherence.
• Ability to analyze technical info and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing budgets, securing funding, and supplier relationships.
• Resilience and leadership in challenging environments, delivering results under pressure.
• Knowledge of carbon reduction and sustainable practices is highly desirable.
