Job summary

Archer, in partnership with BNY, seeks a Director, AI/ML Software Engineer to lead enterprise AI initiatives in Manchester or London. You will shape scalable ML solutions, mentor teams, and drive cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders across finance tech ecosystems.

You will own strategic AI/ML delivery, guide architecture and patterns, and ensure production-ready outcomes that enhance business value and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Significant related experience; securities/financial services experience is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript; Angular helpful.
• Excellent communication, organization, teamwork and mentoring abilities.
• Advanced STEM degree preferred.
• Expertise in AI and ML software development.
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex data processes.
