Job summary

BNY in the United Kingdom seeks a Director, AI / Machine Learning Software Engineer to join our Enterprise Transformation Hub in Manchester or London. This role designs and builds high-quality AI-enabled solutions connecting platforms, data sets, and models to improve context, reuse, and scalability.

You will lead complex ML initiatives with strategic impact, mentor cross-functional teams, and collaborate across internal and external stakeholders to move AI from concept to production, delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline; advanced degree beneficial.
• Significant related experience; securities/financial services experience is a plus.
• Strong Python and SQL; working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript; Angular helpful.
• Excellent communication, organization, teamwork, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Advanced STEM/engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven expertise in AI and machine learning software development.
• Strong problem-solving for complex data processes.
