Job summary

Georgetown University Berkley School of Nursing seeks a Director of Community Engagement and Nursing Workforce Development to lead strategic partnerships with clinicians, educators and professional networks. The role advances clinical learning, mentorship, and pipeline initiatives, expanding access for underrepresented students and strengthening nursing education and workforce innovation.

This hybrid position requires 2-3 days on campus with occasional evening or weekend events; reports to BSON

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in nursing, healthcare administration, education, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive nursing, education, or workforce development experience.
• Ability to engage diverse constituencies across academic and civic environments.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to track engagement.
• Commitment to student success and nursing workforce development.
• Ability to translate data insights into strategic action.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic partnerships with clinicians and professional networks to advance BSON’s education and workforce priorities.
• Design and implement engagement strategies including preceptor opportunities, mentorship, and career networking.
• Develop pipeline initiatives to expand nursing opportunities for underrepresented students.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support experiential learning and community partnerships.
• Monitor outcomes with KPIs and adjust programs accordingly.
