Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a senior Divisional Director to lead Marine Hull client relationships across London and international markets. You will combine technical placement activity with market engagement, guiding renewals, placements, and strategic solutions for major clients and brokers.

You will collaborate with specialists to deliver market-ready solutions, while contributing to business planning, process improvements, and divisional objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in London/International Market Marine Hull insurance sectors.
• Direct experience with Marine Hull clients and brokers.
• Ability to explain complex insurance matters to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple client priorities and placement deadlines.
• Ability to assess challenges, identify solutions and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience using industry platforms (PPL, Crystal, IHS Seaweb).
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients, insurers, and colleagues.
• Focus on delivering client outcomes while upholding regulatory/documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and translate risks into market presentations.
• Support renewals, placements, and market negotiations.
• Coordinate information for RFPs and tender submissions.
• Collaborate with finance and processing teams to service clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Support divisional growth objectives and operational plans.
