Job summary

Caliber8 Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Marine Sales professional with a Project Engineer or Marine Engineering background to lead commercial activities for marine projects. The role involves developing commercial offers, pricing strategies, and contract management across small to medium projects, coordinating with assets, operations, legal, and financial teams.

The ideal candidate has Naval Architect or marine engineering background, with a track record in shipyards and offshore project

Are you an experienced Marine Sales professional with a Project Engineer or Marine Engineering background?

This is an exciting opportunity for somneone who has previously handled commercial roles within shipyards, ideally a Naval Architect background or role that involved going offshore for projects.

Position Responsibilities

• Independently develop commercial offers for small to medium size projects, coordinating with the assets and operations divisions.
• Work with bid teams to develop creative commercial / pricing strategies.
• Negotiate and manage Client contracts and Subcontractor Agreements.
• Supervise the project coordinators' and commercial coordinators' project and office-based workload with respect to cost control, billing, and subcontractor management.
• Work closely with legal counsel (internal / external) on all contractual and legal matters related to salvage and wreck contracts.
• Maintain close coordination with the company's financial team to understand and present revenue / profit status throughout the year.
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships in the insurance and shipping industries.
• Manage and develop third party and subcontractor network.
• Obtain and share market intelligence industry news.
