GSK seeks a visionary Director of Integrative Sciences to lead translational biomarker strategies and diagnostic platform innovation within Oncology Translational Medicine. The role focuses on cutting-edge approaches like AI/ML, multi-modal omics, and biomarker-driven clinical development for ADCs and other modalities.

The candidate will guide analytical strategies, data interpretation, and cross-functional collaboration, with a relocation timeline to Cambridge, UK.

Qualifications

• PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, machine learning or related field required.
• 7+ years in Pharma/Biotech or academia with oncology research and biomarker analysis focus.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence in a matrix environment.
• Experience with emerging diagnostic platforms and translational medicine.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical methods for high-dimensional data.
• Experience with GitHub, R Shiny, R Markdown and cloud/HPC environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead innovation in diagnostic technologies, including multi‑modal biomarker platforms and imaging.
• Develop oncology foundational models and AI/ML analyses on complex datasets.
• Apply analytical methods to enable biomarker discovery and diagnostic strategies for ADCs and other modalities.
• Oversee integration of oncology models to inform translational medicine and clinical development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to derive meaningful insights from complex biology.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement emerging technology platforms for diagnostic innovation.
• Communicate data analysis outputs clearly to senior leaders and non-technical partners.
• Champion integration of biomarker strategies into clinical development plans.
