Job summary

Novartis UK is seeking an Associate Director/Director of HTA Biostatistics to provide strategic statistical leadership for health technology assessment, pricing and reimbursement, and market access. The role partners with Global teams to deliver rigorous payer-relevant evidence and influence decision-makers.

Qualifications

• PhD in Statistics or related field with at least 8 years of HTA/reimbursement evidence experience.
• Advanced understanding of HTA, reimbursement evidence generation, and indirect treatment comparison methods.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and experience leading complex projects in a global matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic statistical leadership for HTA, pricing and reimbursement, market access, and integrated evidence-generation activities across assigned programs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure HTA evidence is scientifically rigorous and decision-relevant.
• Lead implementation of efficient HTA methods with population-adjustment, evidence synthesis, and external controls where appropriate.
• Coach and mentor biostatisticians in HTA methodologies and scientific communication.
• Plan, prioritize, and oversee project-level activities across parallel programs to deliver high-quality statistical outputs.
