Job Description:

The Fund Finance Manager acts as a senior facilitator across various teams and functions, being accountable for all financial aspects of a Fund’s activities, including statutory, administration, accounting, tax, transactions and reporting.

The Fund Finance Manager works closely with the Fund Manager, supporting on finance-related matters, cash flow modelling, tax, structuring, transactions, and investor relations where required.

Reporting Structure:

The Fund Finance Manager reports directly to the Head of Fund Operations UK and collaborates with Fund Management and specialized areas such as Transactions, Asset Management, Tax & Structuring. The role involves working closely with Fund Operations team members responsible for accounting, reporting, audit, etc.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Fund priorities, strategic objectives, and events.
  • Support business strategy, contribute to financial strategy and cash flow planning, including forecasting. Understand performance calculations, valuation drivers, and mechanics.
  • Coordinate with Fund Management, Transactions, Legal, Tax & Structuring, and Corporate Finance to ensure smooth financial operations across jurisdictions regarding reporting, structuring, transactions, and forecasting.
  • Work with Fund Operations team to ensure timely provision of information and completion of tax filings, investor reporting, bank reporting, and audits.
  • Oversee statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance, liaising with jurisdictions like Luxembourg and Ireland. Keep updated on tax changes and communicate impacts.
  • Manage relationships with service providers and maintain positive relationships within the Patrizia group.
  • Collaborate with Compliance on regulatory matters and internal controls, supporting renewal and audit processes.
  • Address complex Fund issues to ensure accurate reporting, including audits, tax, structuring, investor admissions, redemptions, fund setups, and liquidations.
  • Drive Fund priorities, focusing on critical transactions like acquisitions, sales, fund launches, and troubleshooting for smooth operations.
  • Participate in investor meetings representing Fund Operations.

Secondary responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with counterparts in other offices and professional bodies.
  • Stay informed on financial regulations and implement policies accordingly.
  • Must be a UK qualified accountant with significant real estate experience.
  • Possess strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of property valuation, modelling, transactions, tax/structuring/debt, and investor reporting.
