Title: Director, EGB/SSA/Covered Cash Trader, London

Position & Team Overview:

Contributes to the success of the London cash hub trading EGBs (Germany and France) and EUR SSA/Covered, ensuring goals and initiatives align with business strategies. Ensures all activities comply with regulations and policies. This role is within the PRA/FCA Certification Regime and requires internal certification as a significant harm function.

Responsibilities:

• Promote the London cash hub secondary trading franchise, focusing on EGB bonds (Germany and France), EU SSA, and EU covered bonds, providing market-making and information services to global clients.
• Drive new initiatives across products and currencies to expand client and issuer reach, increasing revenue.
• Use appropriate cash and derivative instruments to maintain and risk-manage trading books, ensuring compliance with limits.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate Degree in Economics
• FCA Registered
• Experience in EGB and EUR SSA market making
• Experience in financials/covered bond market making
• Existing client relationships
• Knowledge of relevant systems
• Successful completion of the NFA’s Swaps Proficiency Requirement prior to engaging in in-scope activities
