Position & Team Overview/Highlights:

Contribute to the success of the London cash hub trading EGBs (Germany and France specific) and EUR SSA/Covered bonds, ensuring that goals, plans, and initiatives support the team's business strategies and comply with regulations and internal policies. This role is under the PRA/FCA Certification Regime and requires internal certification as a significant harm function.

What You'll Do:
  1. Promote the London cash hub secondary trading franchise by providing market making and information services for the bank's global client base, focusing on EGB bonds (Germany and France), EU SSA, and EU covered bonds.
  2. Drive new initiatives across products and currencies to expand the franchise's reach and grow revenue, aligning with local and global strategies.
  3. Use appropriate cash and derivative instruments confidently to manage market making books and ensure the desk and bank stay within set limits.
What You'll Bring:
  1. Undergraduate Degree in Economics
  2. FCA Registration
  3. Experience in EGB and EUR SSA market making
  4. Experience in financials/covered bonds market making
  5. Existing client relationships
  6. Knowledge of systems such as Bloomberg, Market Axess, Tradeweb, Candeal, Brokertec
  7. Successful completion of the NFA's Swaps Proficiency Requirement (SPR) prior to engaging in in-scope activity
