Director, EGB/SSA/Covered Cash Trader, London

Position & Team Overview/Highlights:

Contributes to the success of the London cash hub trading EGBs (Germany and France specific) and EUR SSA/Covered, ensuring the execution of goals, plans, and initiatives aligned with business strategies. Ensures compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures. This role falls under the PRA/FCA Certification Regime and requires internal certification as a significant harm function.

What You'll Do:

1. Promote the London cash hub secondary trading franchise by providing market-making and information services for the bank's global clients, focusing on EGB bonds (Germany and France), EU SSA, and EU covered bonds.
2. Drive new initiatives across products and currencies to expand the franchise's reach and grow revenue, aligning with local and global strategies.
3. Utilize appropriate cash and derivative instruments to maintain and risk-manage market-making books, ensuring limits are respected at all times.

What You'll Bring:

• Undergraduate Degree in Economics
• FCA Registration
• Experience in EGB and EUR SSA market making
• Experience in financials/covered bonds market making
• Existing client relationships
• Knowledge of systems such as Bloomberg, Market Axess, Tradeweb, Candeal, Brokertec, etc.
• Successful completion of the NFA's Swaps Proficiency Requirement (SPR) prior to engaging in in-scope activities.
