Job summary

Janus Henderson Group is creating a new Digital Asset Operations role in London to shape the operating model, governance, and launch readiness for tokenized investment products. You will bridge digital asset innovation with institutional execution, partnering with multiple teams across the firm.

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Operating Officer for approximately 18 months, the role focuses on defining controls, risk assessments and launch plans, while positioning the firm for tokenized

Qualifications

• Significant experience in asset management or investment operations.
• Exposure to digital assets, tokenization, or blockchain-enabled projects.
• Strong stakeholder management with ability to influence senior leaders.
• Ability to translate emerging tech into operational requirements and controls.
• Strategic thinking in ambiguous environments with execution discipline.
• Experience designing operating models, processes and risk considerations.

Responsibilities

• Establish the initial Digital Asset Operations governance and operating model framework.
• Define operational readiness requirements for tokenized share classes and blockchain-enabled servicing capabilities; produce process maps and risk assessments.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Innovation, Transfer Agency, Middle Office, Fund Administration, Investments, Product, Distribution, Technology, Legal, Risk and Compliance.
• Support due diligence and onboarding of digital asset partners and service providers.
• Help determine longer-term Digital Asset Operations structure, including future team needs and governance.
