Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a senior professional to establish Digital Asset Operations within the COO Department. You will shape the operating model, governance and launch readiness for tokenized investment products and blockchain-enabled servicing capabilities.

You will bridge digital asset innovation with institutional execution, partnering across Innovation, Transfer Agency, Middle Office, Fund Administration, Investments, Product, Distribution, Technology, Legal, Risk and

Qualifications

Significant experience in asset management or investment operations within financial services.
Leads complex, cross-functional initiatives across business, tech, risk, and compliance teams.
Demonstrable exposure to digital assets, tokenization or blockchain-based initiatives.
Able to translate new tech concepts into actionable operational requirements and controls.
Strong strategic thinking in evolving, ambiguous environments.
Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
Clear written and verbal communication for executives.
Experience in operating model design, process mapping, and control design.
Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize multi-workstream data.
Balances innovation with risk management and regulatory expectations.
Collaborative, inclusive working style and execution focus.
Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

Define the initial Digital Asset Operations governance and operating model.
Develop procedures, control frameworks, escalation paths and launch readiness plans.
Document run-the-business and change-the-business requirements for digital asset ops.
Design workflows for token issuance, onboarding, transfers and settlements.
Assess interoperability between blockchain infra and traditional fund systems.
Define operational controls for tokenized share classes and settlement processes.
Create servicing model for tokenized products including reporting and exceptions.
Oversee due diligence and onboarding of external partners and vendors.
Establish governance forums and reporting for digital asset initiatives.
Identify operational risks and regulatory considerations.
Collaborate with Distribution and Investments on regional requirements.
Monitor market developments and regulatory changes in digital assets.
Support growth and future team design for Digital Asset Operations.
