Our corporate activities are growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking a full-time, office-based Director, Account Management to join our Commercial (Finance) Operations team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee hiring, training, evaluation, and retention of employees within the Commercial (Finance) Operations department, including direct management of a team;
- Provide strategic input and oversee the development of fee estimates for requests for proposals (RFPs), budget revisions, and contract amendments;
- Provide strategic financial input to client requests for information (RFIs) in collaboration with other personnel as needed for each opportunity;
- Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecasted data to assess progress toward goals;
- Evaluate departmental capacity needs regularly and coordinate workload efficiently in line with timelines;
- Serve as key relationship manager for the Sponsor;
- Act as the point of escalation for the Sponsor and internal team on all matters; and
- Participate in client steering committees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; MBA preferred;
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in contract management and pricing within the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry;
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes, with excellent analytical and communication skills;
- Basic knowledge of drug development services and medical terminology; and
- Supervisory experience is highly preferred.
