Sun Chemical is seeking a Director of AI Transformation to lead the enterprise AI program across commercial, manufacturing, and functional teams. The role translates AI capability into measurable business value while scaling governance, operating models, and adoption across a global matrix organization.

The successful candidate will shape the AI strategy, partner with HR on workforce capability, and drive cross-functional pilots to scale initiatives with clear KPIs and ROI.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of business/strategy transformation experience leveraging technology and data.
• Proven success building and scaling AI or data analytics Centers of Excellence.
• Strong business acumen translating AI into commercial/operational value.
• Experience in global, matrixed organizations and cross-cultural dynamics.
• Knowledge of AI governance, data privacy, and ethical AI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise AI transformation roadmap with prioritized use cases.
• Lead a federated AI Center of Excellence (CoE) model with central governance and embedded BU ownership.
• Partner with senior leaders to quantify AI opportunities for revenue growth, margins, productivity, and risk reduction.
• Shape workforce impact assessments and future-state capability requirements across functions.
• Develop AI governance framework, model risk, privacy, and regulatory alignment.
