FICO is seeking a Director, AI Harness Engineering to lead a new internal team that builds the environment to guide AI coding agents toward reliable, production‑ready output. This hands‑on leadership role combines building harness components with growing a regional team and defining quality bars across the organization.

You will design feedforward guides, feedback sensors, and testing infrastructure, own AI governance for your region, and partner with product and platform leaders to align

Qualifications

• Experience with AI coding agents and their evaluation.
• Ability to design and implement harness components.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams.
• Strong communication across product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the harness components and guides.
• Lead and grow a regional harness engineering team.
• Establish QA and quality gating standards.
• Define AI governance and testing infrastructure.
• Drive observability and metrics for agent work.
