Vets Now Specialist Referrals and Out of Hours Glasgow has a very rare opening for a Diplomate (ECVECC, ACVECC) or Residency trained Emergency & Critical Care Clinician to join us on a permanent, part-time basis.

We are a busy private referral hospital and first-opinion out-of-hours emergency provider located in the heart of Glasgow. Our ECC service is one of the largest specialist teams in the country, with a strong focus on education and CPD for interns and residents.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree with RCVS registration.
• EBVS (or equivalent) Boarded Specialist, or Board Eligible status.
• Strong communication with referring vets, clients and teams.
• Experience mentoring or supervising colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for diagnostic investigations and treatment plans for emergencies referred to the ECC service.
• Provide on-going care in ICU and supervise interns and residents.
• Contribute to intern and resident teaching and CPD opportunities.
• Support CPR training and participate in M&M rounds.
