Job summary

Vets Now Hospital Glasgow invites a Diplomate (ECVECC, ACVECC) or Residency-trained Emergency & Critical Care clinician to join on a permanent, part-time basis. We are a busy referral hospital and OOH emergency provider in the heart of Glasgow.

Our ECC service is large, with a strong multidisciplinary team, and ongoing education is encouraged. The role includes diagnostic workups, ICU support, and teaching responsibilities, with flexible patterns to suit targets and on-call demands.

Qualifications

• Diplomate ECVECC/ACVECC or Residency trained in ECC.
• RCVS-registered veterinary degree.
• EBVS (or equivalent) boarded status or board eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnostic investigations and treatment plans for emergencies referred to the ECC service.
• Provide ongoing ICU care and supervise interns and residents.
• Contribute to intern and resident teaching and CPD opportunities.
