Job summary

Nazareth is seeking a Dining Room Assistant for our care home to prepare and clean dining areas for residents and support meal times.

You will set and clear tables, help with dishes, and assist residents with meals, working as part of a friendly team. A DBS/PVG disclosure is required, with full training provided to reach high service standards. We value reliability, good communication and a flexible approach.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team or individually.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
• Flexible, energetic, and hard-working with strong organisational skills.
• A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate desirable, or willing to train to gain this qualification.

Responsibilities

• Set and clear tables and trays as required.
• Clear away dishes and waste after meals.
• Wash dishes as required.
• Provide assistance to residents during meal times.
