Job summary

Nazareth Care Charitable Trust in Birkenhead is seeking Care Assistants to deliver a high standard of care to residents. You will help with personal care, dressing and daily living while treating each resident with dignity and respect.

You will work in a supportive team, monitor health needs, liaise with staff and families, and contribute to care plans to reflect residents’ wishes. DBS/PVG disclosure is required after references.

Qualifications

• Assist residents with personal care, including washing and dressing.
• Monitor residents’ health needs and liaise with the care team.
• Support families with emotional support and information.
• Contribute to care plans in line with personal wishes and Nazareth policies.
• A DBS/PVG disclosure is required after two satisfactory references.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with all elements of daily living and personal care as required.
• Work with the team to monitor health needs and communicate with senior staff.
