Job summary

Alto Software Group, a B2B SaaS leader in the UK housing market, seeks a proactive Digital Workplace Platform Engineer. You will own design and security of our core enterprise infrastructure, bridging cloud tech with end-user productivity across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, macOS and Windows.

You’ll automate provisioning, manage identity systems (Entra ID, Google, LDAP), and lead tenant migrations. Expect a high-impact, autonomous role with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience planning and delivering tenant-to-tenant migrations across Google Workspace and Entra ID.
• Expert-level configuration management for macOS and Windows.
• Experience scaling enterprise endpoint management via Intune, Apple Business Manager and identity providers.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization and cloud deployment.
• Proven ability to manage incidents through multi-service ticketing systems while meeting SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Own design, configuration and maintenance of enterprise cloud platforms.
• Build provisioning workflows and automate repetitive tasks to eliminate manual work.
• Manage and secure user identities and groups across Google, Entra ID, and LDAP.
• Lead tenant-to-tenant migrations and consolidations.
• Enforce security baselines, deploy endpoint protection and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Act as the final escalation point for complex EUC and platforms issues.
• Oversee budgeting, procurement and decommissioning of infrastructure, plus roadmaps and vendor SLAs.
• Mentor the Digital Workplace team and lead user training from new hires to executives.
