Job summary

Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking a Project Manager (Digital and Change) to drive the council's digital transformation programme within the Transformation and Programme Management Team. You will lead projects from initiation to delivery, developing plans, managing risks and engaging stakeholders to realise benefits that improve services for residents and communities.

We require significant project management experience, delivery of transformation or change projects, Prince2 knowledge, and

Qualifications

• Significant project management experience within a complex organisation.
• Experience delivering transformation, digital or change projects.
• Knowledge of Prince2 or equivalent methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver digital, transformation and change projects from initiation through to completion.
• Develop and manage project plans, risks, issues, budgets and resources.
• Coordinate the implementation of new systems and major business change initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, service manager and external partners.
• Monitor projects progress, track benefits and provide high quality reports and updates.
